The story

Quadal packed the Vienna Academy's life room with the leading artists of the city, among them Maulbertsch, Füger and Lampi and the sculptors Fischer and Zauner, all studying a nude model. He slipped himself into the scene too, in the academy's St. Anna building in 1787.
