The story

Jenny Steiner commissioned and owned Water Serpents II. After she fled Vienna in 1938, the Nazis seized it and gave it to the filmmaker Gustav Ucicky. In 2013 it resold for 183.3 million dollars, making it the most expensive Klimt ever sold.
