The story
Zorn made his name with nudes bathing outdoors, seemingly unaware of being watched, where light mattered more than eros. The Nationalmuseum's catalogue sees this 1905 canvas, signed at Mora, tipping into open eroticism, with the model set squarely before the viewer. The museum bought it in 1909.
